From May 28 to 30, Panasonic Industry Italia will be showcasing their latest products at SPS Parma in Italy. Located in Hall 6 at Stand H008, Panasonic will feature the new MINAS A7 series of motors and drives, which incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This will be the first time the MINAS A7 series is exclusively exhibited in Europe. Another highlight on display is the 3D short pulse fiber laser marker LP-ZV, designed to meet the complex marking requirements of modern industries.

The MINAS A7 series of motors and drives represents a significant advancement in servo systems, being the industry's first commercially available AI-equipped servo system. These devices feature precise automatic tuning capabilities that surpass the performance achieved by human experts. By utilizing Panasonic's proprietary precAIse TUNING technology, the MINAS A7 series achieves highly accurate automatic tuning, leading to a reduction in operation time of up to 90%. This system can automate tasks that previously required manual tuning by experts due to unsatisfactory results from conventional automatic tuning functions. Additionally, the MINAS A7 series offers exceptional motion performance, boasting a servo motor encoder resolution of 27 bits (134,217,728 pulses per revolution). The servo amplifiers demonstrate an industry-leading speed response frequency of 4.0 kHz or higher. Moreover, the servo motor achieves a maximum rotation speed of 7,150 r/min, contributing to shorter cycle times.

The 3D short pulse fiber laser marker LP-ZV provides high-speed and precise laser marking, catering to a wide range of metal and plastic applications. This system is particularly suitable for marking concave or convex surfaces within a 50mm area (±25mm). With a large marking field of up to 330mm x 330mm, it offers the ability to mark an extensive range of products. The LP-ZV incorporates a Z-axis control, allowing for the marking of complex shapes without compromising quality. The laser marker utilizes 1-ns short pulses to minimize the thermal effect, resulting in clear marking of extremely small and fine characters as small as 0.15mm. The LP-ZV is equipped with the updated Laser Marker NAVI smart software, featuring a user-friendly interface. Additionally, the built-in camera enables users to preview the marking on the material. The LP-ZV can seamlessly integrate into customers' production lines via EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, thanks to its network unit.

Visitors to the Panasonic Industry stand at SPS Parma will have the opportunity to interact with technical experts from the company. These experts will provide insights into the high value-added solutions offered by Panasonic Industry, specifically tailored for Machine Builders and System Integrators in the fields of Connectivity, Motion, and Sensing.
