OMNIVISION has announced that its OX08D10 8-megapixel CMOS image sensor with TheiaCel™ technology is now integrated and validated with color tuning on Qualcomm Technologies' Snapdragon Ride™ Platform, Snapdragon Ride™ Flex System-on-Chip (SoC), and Snapdragon Cockpit Platform. This integration is aimed at next-generation advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and AI-enabled connected digital cockpits.
The OX08D10 image sensor offers high dynamic range (HDR), LED flicker mitigation (LFM), and low-light sensitivity for advanced driver assistance systems. It is the first image sensor in the industry to feature TheiaCel™ technology, which enhances LFM HDR and improves image quality.
The OX08D10 image sensor combines 8-megapixel resolution, 2.1-micron TheiaCel™ technology, wide dynamic range, low-light performance, LED flicker mitigation, compact size, and low power consumption. It provides automotive OEMs with a single device that incorporates essential features for ADAS.
