UEC-Saturn of the United Engine Corporation continues to introduce software robot technologies (Robotic Process Automation, RPA). The solution is designed to automate the routine business processes of an enterprise. This will redistribute the workload of personnel, minimize errors and increase labor productivity.
Software robots are developed on the domestic Robin RPA platform. Today UEC-Saturn uses more than 20 software robots in 14 automated business processes.
Since commissioning in January 2021, the software robots have processed 2,624 requests in the corporation's IT resource management system. In addition, software robots made it possible to automate part of the routine work of information systems and to abandon the need to call operators to work on weekends.
In the near future, the company plans to switch to a new version of the robotization platform, which will improve the stability of existing robots and ease of development. IT specialists of UEC-Saturn have already been trained in creating software robots on the Robin 2.0 platform and received the status of experts.
The company plans to introduce software robots in routine work on entering information on the composition of products and design specifications into the database, as well as in the processes of filling out accounting forms and processing user applications.
