Transmit VGA provides high-performance RF capability

The Analog Devices ADL6317 VGA offers an interface from RF DACs, transceivers, and SoC to power amplifiers. Integrated balun and hybrid couplers provide high-performance RF capability in the frequency range of 1500MHz to 3000MHz.

 

To optimise performance vs power level, the device includes a VVA, high linearity amplifiers, and a DSA. All of the devices combined into the device are programmable via a four-wire SPI.

Analog

The device is created on an advanced SiGe, with BiCMOS process.

 

Typical applications comprise 2G/3G/4G/LTE in FDD/TDD broadband communication systems.
