From March 2 to March 4, the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum (KEF-2022) is being held in Russia. This year, the forum, the main topic of which was "Siberia: the economy of the future", combined online and offline platforms. At one of the sessions of the KEF-2022, China and Russia shared their successes and plans for the digital transformation of the industry.

Representatives of Russia, in turn, spoke about their own vision of the digital transformation of industry. So, according to Mikhail Matveev, head of the Internet of Things Competence Center of MTS PJSC, industrial automation is being replaced by Industry 4.0, which requires changes in the economic and legal structures. From the words of Vitaly Busko, Vice President for Innovation at Norilsk Nickel, it follows that digitalization with robotics, VR, 3D printing and its other components is vitally necessary to remain competitive.
At the beginning of last month, it was already reported that the heads of Russia and China had reached agreements on cooperation in the field of IoT and AI. Vladimir Putin met with Xi Jinping in China as part of opening of the 24th Winter Olympic Games in Beijing.
