The Russian company Tonk presented not only a laptop based on the Zhaoxin KX6640MA x86 processor , but also a TONK TN1004 mini-PC built on the same platform. Recall that Zhaoxin processors are produced by a joint venture between VIA and Shanghai authorities.
The manufacturer claims that the TONK TN1004 mini-computer is made in a durable case made of metal and plastic, it is very compact (dimensions are not indicated) and is suitable for a large number of office tasks.
The device is equipped with DP and HDMI outputs for connecting two monitors with a high screen resolution. Through HDMI, you can connect a screen with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 at 60 fps, and through DP the resolution is up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 fps.
The equipment also includes a gigabit RJ-45 connector, a wireless network adapter with support for WI-FI 802.11ac/a/b/g/n/ and Bluetooth 4.0, a 3.5 mm universal jack, 4 USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports and a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C (DT).
The TONK TN1004 mini-PC received 8 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM and a 256 GB M.2 2280 SATA solid-state drive. Additionally, you can install a 2.5-inch drive of any capacity.
Both laptop and mini PC are fully compatible with Windows 10 and Red OS. Astra Linux OS developers plan to complete work on ensuring technological compatibility by the end of May 2022.
The TONK TN4004 laptop and TONK TN1004 mini-PC can be tested right now - you can place a pre-order on the manufacturer's website. Deliveries are expected to begin before the end of this year.
