At the press and frame plant of KAMAZ PJSC, the Eidos robot, manufactured by the Kazan company Eidos Robotics, was successfully tested.
Last year, the enterprise handed over to the plant for trial operation an A12 robotic arm, welding equipment and a positioner for installing equipment. By order of the Deputy Director of the RRP for Technical Development and Industrial Safety Almas Gilmanov, the new “worker” first adapted in the repair shop. Specialists from the laboratory of industrial electronics wrote a program for him, and at the end of last year, a place was equipped for the new "welder" in the chassis workshop.
A full-fledged robotic cell is mounted here. Especially for Eidos, a turntable was equipped: on the one hand, electric arc welding is carried out with wire feed in a semi-automatic mode, on the other, a worker fixes the next workpiece. The seats are separated by a special protective screen. Other security measures are also provided: there is a special mat in the cell itself - if you take a step on its surface, the table will not turn, even if the operation is completed. The second stage is photoprotection, which provides for blocking the entire system if someone crosses the perimeter of the working area, outlined by the yellow line.
Eidos has been working on welding the bracket of the cab hydraulic lock for two months now. The robot is controlled in one minute, while the connections are smooth, strong and do not require additional cleaning from splashes. The device copes with the monthly volume of work in one to two weeks.
