A good AC-DC power supply module can directly increase the service life of the application. The quality of AC-DC power supply modules on the market is uneven. In this case, a refined circuit, isolation and voltage regulation, and suitable AC- DC power modules are not easy. HLK-PM01 is the repeated choice of many customers. The first consideration for power supply is safety

HLK-PM01 is a 5V3W isolated power supply. Compared with a non-isolated power supply, the input and output of the isolated power supply are electrically connected through magnetic components such as transformers. The load end and input end of the power supply are indirectly connected, even if the output is short-circuited. If there are too many problems, there will be no risk of electric shock.

AC-DC AC to DC regulated output

The output of the power supply is not really constant. The output has periodic jitter, called ripple, which can be voltage or current ripple. If the ripple component of the current is too large and exceeds the maximum allowable ripple current of the capacitor, it will cause the capacitor to burn out. If the ripple is too high, it will not only produce noise but also affect the chip's operation.

HLK-PM01 can be equipped with different capacitors, input C1 safety capacitors and output C2 electrolytic capacitors, to meet the needs of different customers for ripple; after adding C2 electrolytic capacitors, users can adjust the output ripple voltage and requirements for ripple & noise Generally, only C2 is recommended for the peripheral; when the ripple & noise requirements are strict, the following circuit is recommended.

Note: C2 uses high-frequency low-resistance electrolytic capacitors, and the total capacity cannot exceed the maximum capacitive load marked in the manual, otherwise the module will not start normally. In the case of capacitive load, a minimum load of 3% must be guaranteed, otherwise it will cause abnormal output of the module.

HLK-PM01 is easy to use

When many customers choose power modules, they also consider design costs and after-sales costs to develop a board. If the power modules are also designed to be embedded, it will increase development and production costs. Choosing a power module can not only reduce the production cycle, but also make after-sales much more convenient. For power supply problems, you can directly replace the power module, which will not have the slightest impact on the circuit board.
