According to Memes Consulting, First Sensor recently announced the launch of the new LHD ULTRA series 2-in-1 differential pressure sensor. This series of flow-based new 2-in-1 differential pressure sensors can be used in the entire high dynamic range of -5000 Pa ~ +5000 Pa Measure pressure fluctuations with Apache accuracy. Samples of all sensor series products are now available, and the first product has been delivered to customers.
This series of differential pressure sensors combines two temperature measurement microfluidic channels and two sensor elements with different pressure sensing ranges on a single chip for the first time. The first sensor ensures high resolution for precise measurement under low differential pressure; the second sensor optimizes the high pressure measurement range. The fast-responding 24-bit on-board controller ensures that accurate measurement results are output within the entire dynamic measurement range.
This series of differential pressure sensors uses thermal sensing-based MEMS components and adaptive installation and connection technology (SDCT), making it very compact, with a height of only 7.4 mm including the pressure interface, which is very suitable for multiple distributors ( Manifold) requires space-saving installation.
The LHD ULTRA series products provide a maximum pressure range of -5000 Pa to +5000 Pa. The high flow resistance of LHD ULTRA makes the product insensitive to dust/moisture, and minimizes flow leakage, providing high dust and moisture resistance. Even in applications where long hose connections are unavoidable, sensor response and accuracy will not be affected.
The LHD ULTRA series performs very well in flow measurement applications that require high-precision low-dropout measurement. Each sensor comes standard with an on-board barometer for optional real-time common mode pressure compensation. This means that the user can choose between mass flow or volume flow measurement without the need for an external environmental pressure reference device. The optional small size FFT connector and ribbon cable allow easy bypass measurements in the final assembly.
The LHD ULTRA series has excellent overall accuracy, which is higher than 1.5% of the measured value. The resolution under low pressure is about 0.05 Pa, and the offset reproducibility is ±0.02 Pa per year.
Each LHD ULTRA series sensor is equipped with linearized digital I²C or SPI output, integrated on-board temperature sensor and air pressure sensor.
The new LHD ULTRA series has three pressure ranges to choose from: ±1250 Pa, ±2500 Pa, and ±5000 Pa, available in one-way and two-way versions. Due to the use of First Sensor's patented real-time offset compensation and linearization technology, it has excellent long-term stability and accuracy.
