Insiders believe that AiP module, which plays an important role in mmWave transmission, will see more definite growth next year, and relevant platform board suppliers such as Jingbuk, Xinxing and Nanpower will benefit.

It is reported that Apple is the first manufacturer to introduce AiP module on a large scale in the current market. It is said that each new generation of iPhone will import more and more AiP in the next few years.

The report pointed out that in addition to Taiwan manufacturers, the main suppliers of AiP board, South Korea's Samsung Motor and LG Innotek are also the main force, of which Samsung Motor is currently Qualcomm's most dependent source of AiP board supply.

It is also reported that Mediatek has prepared the new AiP product, which is expected to be officially released in 2021. The strength of Mediatek's delivery power determines whether Isro, Xinxing and other Taiwan-based manufacturers can obtain AiP board orders.

However, relevant supply chain manufacturers also pointed out that the AiP market is still full of variables. On the one hand, the technology is still in the early stage of development, and it will be a challenge for the board supply quantity to keep up with the customer demand. If the customer chooses to adjust the technology, the supply chain may also change. On the other hand, it is not certain whether Apple will stick to the customized AiP module cooperated with Qualcomm. If Apple adopts qualcomm's standard products, it will be difficult for Taiwanese manufacturers to enter into the iPhone supply chain.
